Product care
Our products are made from natural leather and solid brass. To make them last longer and to keep them in their best condition, please refer to our guideline below.
• Regular Cleaning: It is recommended to clean your leather collar whenever necessary. Use a soft cloth dampened with warm water and mild soap to gently wipe away dirt. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they can damage the leather and tear away the embossment.
• Conditioning: To keep the leather in its best condition, it's recommended to treat it with a leather conditioner from time to time. Apply a small amount of leather conditioner to a clean cloth and gently rub it into the collar. Polish with a synthetic cloth.
• Drying a wet collar or leash: Allow your wet collar or leash air dry naturally. Avoid using heat sources such as radiators or hair dryers, as they may cause the leather to loose softness and appearance.
• Water exposure: Leathers may be exposed to water, but to make sure your products will keep its shapes and looks, it's recommended not to expose them to too heavy water masses. If your dog's collar or leash get wet from a rainy walk or a joyful swim in the lake, gently pat them dry with a clean cloth and allow them to air dry completely before using them again.
• Storage: We recommend to store your leather products away from direct sunlight, as long exposure in the sun may affect color, shape and finish of the leather. Also avoid storing leather products in humid areas, as such can cause mold. For the best storage, use the dust bag that comes with your product
• Brass Component Care: Brass components on your dog collar and leash may develop a natural patina over time. If you prefer to maintain the original shine, you can polish the components using a soft cloth and a metal cleaner liquid.
